M/S Marival II – Amfion Marine Charters Oy

M/S Marival II was built in 1965 in Poland, where she cruised for the first 30 years. She arrived in Finland in 1995, when she was refitted to her present appearance. The ship has excellent and usable facilities for passenger transport and cruising. This 88-seater vessel has an A-rated bar, a restaurant and a spacious sun deck. There are also two toilets, ventilation and central heating. Thanks to its stability, the ship is safe for large groups. It is possible to take a bicycle on board for an extra €2. Dogs are welcome on board.

You can also board the boat with a bicycle, making it a great addition to a Pielinen tour. If you’re looking for a good day trip for cycling, rent a bike in Koli, cruise across Lake Pielinen to Vuonislahti, and ride around the southern end of the lake via Ahveninen back to Koli. The route is about 60 kilometers long and includes a couple of cafés, swimming spots, and the Pirunkirkko rock cave. Bicycles can be rented in Koli from Polar Adventures. Dogs are also welcome on board.
