The hottest sculpture competition of the summer
The toughest sculpture competition of the summer is being held for the fourth time in Juuka. The event is taking place for the first time in the vicinity of Juuka Sports and Culture Hall, at Poikolantie 6.
The festival is organized by Ellin Taitajat ry from Juuka in cooperation with NunnaUuni, Juuka municipality, and various other stakeholders.
There is one category in the competition, featuring the Finnish Championship in hand and machine carving, as well as an international competition.
This year, the competitors will work on Mammoth granite blocks donated by local NunnaUuni Oy.
The theme of the competition in 2024 is irresistibly appealing Fairy Tales and Stories.
The event, designed for the whole family, is free of charge. Various activities will also take place in the center of Juuka during the festival.
